I love this video! I have a couple of things to offer:
A bicycle mechanism can be adapted to the crank on the pump if it requires a circular motion. The cranking could be much easier from there.
I have some other ideas about adding colloidal silver to the casting process which are cheap and and easy to implement. Contact me if you are interested.

You do great work!
I use 500ppm colloidal silver when need be.
Why do you use colloidal and not silver plate?

With the colloidal silver we can impregnate all pores within the ceramics. This increases the contact time of any bacterias while passing through the filter pores and improves the security of disinfection up to 99.98%

are you associated with potters for peace?

Somehow yes, we adopted the PFP concept and used their consultants to get the knowledge transferred into Yemen. But we are very supportive to the PFP and think this will be the right way to achieve the Millennium goal on water. regards
