Crappy Bagel Guy (original song)

The original Crappy Bagel Guy song comes from a vlog I did in October of last year. It is a mostly true story of a guy who worked in The Depot at my school, which is kind of like a food court. One of the counters in The Depot is the ever-awesome Los Bagels (where you can get cream cheese and guacamole on a jalapeno bagel oh my GOD heaven on earth). Anyway, dude was really introverted and awkward, and never seemed to be able to get my order right. He always either gave me the totally wrong thing, or charged me way too much for it. I called him out on it a few times, but after like the 4th time I just felt bad for him, and I started to avoid the Los Bagels counter when I saw he was working (which is when the song idea first came about). After a few months I noticed he had disappeared from The Depot altogether. To this day I still don't know if he got fired or quit or what happened to him, but I do know that once I saw him working at the real Los Bagels restaurant in town, washing dishes in the back, waiting for me to order something for him to eff up.

It's a really cute song, but I have a lot of sympathy for this bagel guy. Why would you call and complain about him? That would be pretty rude. It's just a damn bagel.

It wasn't just one occurrence. His poor customer service happened over the course of several months. Also, it was a pretty significant amount of my money that, intentionally or not, I would have been cheated out of.

I'm sure he's an okay guy, I just don't think he was meant to work in a food service job; especially one that requires good listening skills.
