Then it threw Big Mode at you. And thus, it sucked.

@ZetaPlays Actually, it almost certainly wasn't the final boss. This was "Big Mode 1". So it's more than likely there were more Big Mode stages after this.

You were probably wise to not try to beat this game.

Actually there are nine other Predators in this game. There are 16 levels if memory serves correct.

Eye beam, you mean shoulder cannon. This is NES so the means to draw the actual shoulder cannon would be too much for a game that blows this much.
