Brand new to BBC Three, Harper's Island brings murder and mystery to the channel. The series pushes the boundaries of traditional television with frightening, tense and exciting drama that will keep the viewer riveted. A secluded island off the coast of Seattle is the scene for a week-long wedding celebration attended by a group of family and friends. But amidst the festivities, a murderer begins claiming victims one by one, transforming the occasion into a terrifying struggle for survival.

In the space of 2 days 4 people had disappeared. Cousin Ben wasn't a concern because he didn't turn up at all. Booth shot himself and was covered up by Malcolm. Kelly apparently killed herself. Everyone believed Lucy had gone back to Ryan and was bringing him over for the wedding. Uncle Marty was a lothario so if he had shacked up with some local, no one was going to say otherwise. After Mr. Wellington died everyone began asking questions. After ep 5 things changed a lot

i just started to watch the harper's island and it's so good ecspeciallythe cassidy sisters

@SpongemonkeyUK they explained why Trish's friend, Lucy, wasn't a concern. The killer told someone that she left the island to go back to her boyfriend. People must just have assumed she took the dog, Gigi, with her. But the character Beth did show concern that Lucy wasn't answering her calls. Uncle Marty, yeah the txt message was the reason no one worried. as for Cousin Ben...no idea.

I enjoy the show as a peace of pop corn TV. But there are so many gapping plot holes. Namely dead characters

It seems the adage "Out of sight, out of mind" really seems to apply to every character on the island. How many characters have been missing for days with no explanation, or no concern or even no mention from any of the characters. Trish's cousin. Henry's uncle (they at least tried to explain that with a text message). One of Trish's friend and her dog Gigi.
