The deer has already been de-boned and is going to be cut into steaks.

  • i eat everything deer elk moose man its tasty as fuck

  • @fuckvegan i like your name...lol

  • @fuckvegan I dont even know what people say when they say anything wild is "gamey". Been eating deer and moose since probably before i could walk. it just tastes to me like.. deer and moose. it's tasty as fuck, people are just raised on shitty steroid-infused beef so they dont know something good when they see it.

  • Getting rid of the gaminess of a deer is like avoiding the problem instead of fixing it. I say don't drain the blood, dont remove the tendon, keep the bone and bone marrow , keep some fat (I understand the tallow is very greasy but still keep a little)...Eat the liver...The deer flavor will shine...Dont hide it under the carpet..Face it like a man...Puke two or three times if required..Next time you eat deer you will not throw away anything

  • I guess I feel like how you tape a package of meat isnt that important. And how you rip the tape, isnt that important either.

Also, this is a question mark- "?" look it up, find out how to use it.

hawkdlb06- why dont you just trust the butcher. He is your friend, and he is a butcher. If he is taking too long then you should have done it yourself. You dont want to process a deer that was frozen if it can be helped. its hard to cut frozen meat, and its not good to freeze/thaw/freeze

  • this guy is sweet he still kickin? one can learn a lot from an old timer like this?

  • ?. how long can a deer hang in a freezer (garage) with the temp 25-30 degrees before it has to be processed. i was just curious cause i called my local butcher ( my friend) and he said that he hasnt got to it yet and i shot it the 3rd day of shotgun season here in Iowa and that was on the 6th of this month. and it hasnt got passed 29 degrees since. get back to me asap

  • Seems like a really good fella. He really knows his stuff too. Good video, guys.
