  • To answer your question, I did not open the vestibule windows, and there was no attendant present. I believe there had been some kind of horrendous problem with one of the heads and ventilation was needed.

  • The opening shot is Las Vegas, NM station; and the Castaneda Hotel Great footage, thanks.

  • Thanks for the correction and kind words.

  • road it last week .. was about 10 minutes late into Los Angeles and about 5 to 10 minutes late on the return trip into Chicago

  • This is great! What time of year was it?

  • sempre quis fazer 1 viagem nesses carros!

  • oh god .. bad memories!! Driving to trinidad Colorado from new mexico and I hit a boulder and spent hours in a ditch with my mom and little brother. this was when we were moving from florida to colorado.. like on july 4th 2010

  • The station and Fred Harvey dining facility were used as sets in the Patrick Swayze movie "Red Dawn"!

  • You stopped filming into the tunnel. I LOVE that tunnel. I will ALWAYS love that tunnel. Seriously, i may never take this ride again. I love your video.

  • Just getting out of So Cal as well as Chicagoland with all the heavy rail traffic, usually screws everything up right away and sets back the schedule. I remember sitting in Jolliette for something like 2.5 hours one day on the westbound SW Chief!

  • I rode this train from Albuquerque to Las Vegas and it was 5 hours late on the way to Las Vegas and 8 hours late back to ABQ

  • Yeah, it was about 3 hours late

  • is this train usually late?
