    It;s so funny how a song can bring back so may memories. Just takes me back to the 70's when everything was simple. Funny - those days don't seem long ago - perspective is everything I guess.

    I distinctly remember joining the "Columbia Record Club" in the early '70's with my family and each family member getting to pick three albums. You guessed it--this was one of mine--and yes, I still have it--and the memories you have brought up to surface are pleasant ones of carefree childhood summer days, blissfully listening to quality music like this.     Larry Graham was from Texas as well. Texans living in San Fran is probably the most stretch one could make. But their musical and gospel sounding roots are heavily rooted in Texas.
