Good info. Thanks for posting. Please make more videos! You are good at it.

I enjoyed the vid! Some of the stuff you mentioned especially when talking about boot and foot upkeep is stuff that one can easily overlook that can make a huge difference in a situation when going to walmart is no longer an option. Thank you and keep up the good work!

@pastthebrink Oh, man, yeah. I ALWAYS owned Hermans and really miss them.

Some interesting info - Mankind historically wore sandals in some of the roughest environments imaginable, and do so by CHOICE. Yes, a full boot is more protective, but there is a trade off. I keep a pair of sandals that are like a cross with a sneaker for more protection, but are light, breathable. I will sometimes bring these and my snake boots for long hikes, and switch em out as needed. sandals also go on FAST in a pinch.

you are so right about comfort with boots, and you do need to be ok with your boots since you will spend a good deal of your day with them, the shell toed are good for protection, but after prolonged use they kill your feet and even begin to reshape your foot, not to mention they are a great cold sink, they will assist in freezing your toes off

I have been pulling my hair out trying to replace my old USA made Hermans Survivors. I am looking into the Danner made combat boots but they feel strange on my feet. Can you do a video on the RAT boot when you get some time in them?
