Happy Holidays YouTubers!! Sharing my 1st holiday record of the season. Lot's more to come. This is an interesting little 5 inch record I found a long time ago with picture sleeve. I'm guessing early 50s. Enjoy!! Play a Christmas Record Today!!

  • Thank you so much for posting that. My father, Jay Meyer was on that recording. Was wondering if I could get a copy of that? Let me know. Thanks.

  • @sassykatkc1 This was recorded in 1949. Your father didn't join the group until 1951.

  • The Sportsmen Quartet on this record are Bill Days, Bob Stevens, Marty Sperzel and Gurney Bell. It was recorded in 1949. Jay Meyer didn't join the group until 1951.

  • @CrisVangel1958 I hope it wasn't anything Johnny G played hey love those 78s man!

  • nice song raymond thanks for sharing :)

  • That was sweet! I miss your little santa on the bicycle. I saw one, a replica type thing at the dollar store, but they were cheaply made and not near as nice. Are we gonna see him this year? Thanks for sharing this great tune! I love the record jacket.

  • Very cool! That reminds me of a kiddie Christmas tape my mom got me back when I was 7. Same song except children were singing it. I love the color of that Zenith. The layout and tonearm the same as my RCA Victor.
