FIREFLIES full cover by 10 year-old Jalahn Travis

Jalahn is back again! This time he was set in mind to cover the whole thing including vocals, despite having a chest cold. Using the Korg M1 patched into Sonar 6 Studio, he layered main and backing keyboard parts (piano, glock, strings, bass) all into Midi with a click track. He also build a small beat using on-board sounds and the Korg. (one place I did step in, besides production, was to help build the Hi-hat track)
After initial tracks were cut, Jalahn started work on the vocal part. He used a Shure KSM27, phantom powered into a M-Audio NRV-10 Fire-Wire to Sonar 6 Studio. During this time video footage was shot while Jalahn was actually cutting his parts.

While Jalahn was recording in the music faze, he used the Owl City video on You Tube as a point of reference only. This is Jalahn's own cover version of Fireflies and all parts, aside from the Hi Hat are performed by Jalahn Travis.
