@zukakonie That's very interesting. I saw the film late last night and though I'd never heard this song - it really made such a strong impression on me that it stayed in my mind long past the movie's end. When I got home I immediately went searching the web and found it here. 'Between the Bars' is very profound, a hauntingly beautiful, memorable work.

Elliott Smith and Chris Garneau have similar voices, so naturally, he did a lovely job here. Definitely one of Elliott's best tunes.
