not true. russia had a specific other type of jet that can deploy the reversers in mid air to make a rapid decent.... forgot the type though.

@untensil why would it be harded? if the throttles are to idle thrust reversers wont automaticaly turnon they will just be ready. im confused :(

@RHCP9181 if they did that it would be harder to perform touch and gos, it may be harder to abort landings also if the aircraft has touched down
