But if you know which ones to buy, they are a very good as a private investment. If you buy the right type of windmill it will have paid itself after 5-7 years.
Futhermore you will be rewarded with huge tax credits aswell, but youre screwed if it breaks down, since you will be fined for everyday its not funktional....

In Denmark where i am from, they on average supply 20 percent of domestic energy needs. Here the wind is blowing almost everyday.
But you are so right about what you say, hands down.
Since most factories in the world get their energy from fossil fuels, a rise in energy cost will also be a rise in expenses, therefore the product produced will also become more expensive.
Rising oil/coal prices=Higher price of windmills.
Which pretty much contradicts my previous theory.

4 dislikes they must be fascists/socialists from the loony left

@RonnestMusic The price of a barrel of oil is irrelevant to the efficacy,or more the lack of W Turbines.WTs are stunningly pointless, have you looked at their output percentages? They barely manage 1-2% of need. They produce almost nothing when the weather is very cold, just at the time when their electrical power is most desirable. For every wind farm built,a fossil fueled backup of real practical use is required for the days when there is no wind, which will be most days. The costs are just as insane

I'm not sure that the profs historic angle is good enough. CO2 is a natural gas but everything needs to be considered by the concentration. Too much water can be harmful. At this period we are above the CO2 concentrations that have been seen historically please do read for yourself. google- Nature Journal Climate and atmospheric history of the past temperature is linked to CO2 because CO2 traps infared radiation. A rise in CO2 due to fossil fuels increases temperature with big implications.

Global Warming or not, wind turbines might still be a very good investment, if supply cannot keep up with the increasing demand for fossil fuels.
IEA just released a report suggesting that a Barrel of Brent Oil will rise to 150 $ in 2015.
I think windmills are a good investment,
Screw the climate and save the economy.

Which book is that? I would like to read it
(1-2) Great speech. Here in Denmark the media are using the most vile forms of propaganda in order to shove the UN-climate scam down the throats of the viewers. The current EU climate 'minister' or whatever the title, is Connie Hedegaard, a completely ideologically blinded globalist nut case, and former TV journalist from Denmark, who understands nothing of science.
