This is what I did some time ago for a video clip "poczekajka". First sequence is just a test, meaning me playing around with the footage. Second part shows the process of going from raw footage to the final effect.

  • woh, pretty cool, but one thing i even dont know is creating a buring object like u did. Is it a video file just put over the object? Coool video

  • no. it was more complex than that. well... at least it should, but due to lack of time on this project I had to go with what I had from my first try.

  • what was the software used for the fire?

  • hi. I wanted to know how u used fire here. I followed ur tuto on creatin fire w/ time diff. and luma key. Here it seems u used a different method.

  • Damn it looks cool, I would realy like to see a tutorial on how to create something like this.

Are you planing on releasing a tutorial on this kinds of fx?

  • Really nice Jerry I hope to see a day for night tutorial and that fire on your site soon!

  • Good job... I really like your fire render :)

  • Hey, film production student here, due to the unreliability of other students I tend to do most of my projects as a one-man-band, so I'm trying to learn post production stuff. I was wondering if you'd be willing to give me a little more information on this effect? If so, send me a message through YouTube and I'll email you immediately. Thanks for the consideration. <3 :)

  • This music video was harded work in my life. Thx God (and Master Maltaannon) last week was the end of any works.

  • Oh. And as far as the music video is concerned... there are so many things that have been done to the footage that you can't even tell. Mostly object removal, or exactly the opposite - putting new object (or whatever) into a filmed shot.

  • As long as you worked on, and you didn't sign anything that says you cant... it you can post it.

  • I would... But I do non-profit work as well. Like my tutorials. And like helping out people with good scripts and interesting ideas. When I have time of course... and that is not very often.
