In this video the red oak steps have been installed and now I show you what products I used and how to apply each one. I stained the wood steps with Minwax-Golden Oak & Puritan Pine oil based stain 50-50 and top coated the stain with a water based Minwax Polycrylic. This product only takes 2 hours to dry between coats and only needs a minor sanding. It's easy to apply and there is hardly any fumes given off by this product. The end result is a beautiful stairway that really compliments our home.

  • can't hear you!

  • You might want to turn the radio down next time.

  • minwax is a inferior product , Zar is far more color accurate

  • How did you sand those stairs so nicely? How did you get those corners so neatly done??
