  • The damage to the delta is caused by the freshwater being diverted in the first place. These guys are paid to come up with a scientific excuse to divert the freshwater from the source. They are taking such a large quantity now that they are getting the brackish wash from down stream. The whole debacle is to assure that southern CA is happy with the quality of water they receive. There is and always has been plenty for the farms as long as they do not sell there share south.

  • Teehee I like to play on the fking water. Its fun. I like to fish. Fk the GD ag industry and the san joaquin valley. I am having too much fun fishing.

I hope all the fking levees break next time we have and El Nino weather pattern. I will laugh my ass off.

  • This looks like one of those follow the money deals. The best way to protect the delta is to leave it alone. Who are these guys kidding? Directing fresh water from the river system will allow salt water to invade the delta system...Then the fresh water species will die. DuH!

  • man propaganda at its finest that doesn't seem like fair and balanced reporting.

the opposition to this ridiculous argument is For the precious freshwater to be kept where it belongs so we can still have salmon and let southern ca dry up like the desert THAT IT IS. Pumping water has decimated the salmon and know the stripers and black bass are next. I am all for sharing the water (for a price) with so-cal. but not at the expense of our valued natural commodities.
