TWH: Around the globe there are a handful of truly spectacular rivers where the colour of the water is iridescent, the temperature both warm and inviting and where the whitewater cascades with challenging rapids and spectacularly clean waterfalls. Located in the Northern state of San Luis Potosi in the heart of the Sierra Madre lays an incredible series of rivers ranging from travertine waterfalls to deep, narrow, technical canyons. If you are looking for warm tropical rivers 'steep in adventure then join us on the Turquoise Waters Of The Huasteca.

ERE:Similar in nature to the Turquoise Waters of the Huasteca The Emerald River Expedition includes some additional advanced adventure. The Santa Maria rises in the spectacularly beautiful Sierra Gordo Biosphere Reserve. As we start our 3 day descent of the river we are awe-struck by the warmth, colour and beauty of the river. Our second day leads us through two spectacular and challenging canyons finishing at the spectacular Tamul Waterfall. To get around the falls we trek, haul our boats and then rappel back into the canyon 87 metres to the river below! This trip is recommended for advanced paddlers only.
