Round 2 :
A corner is 2 clusters of stitches separated by 3 chain stitches. As always the first cluster of each round is a bit of a renegade - so worry not!
You only need to know chain stitch and treble stitch for this round.
So follow the video by :
Chaining up 3.
Turn your work around as shown.
Treble one stitch into the gap just below and to the left of where your chain of 3 started - it's the far left gap in the first round - as shown.
Treble another stitch into that same gap.
You've made your first little (wonky) cluster
Chain 3 stitches to make the 'corner'
Now treble 3 stitches BACK INTO THE SAME GAP!
It'll feel like your're going backwards, but don't worry!
That's the second (more perfect) cluster in your corner!
You've made a corner! Hurrah!
It might look a bit wonky, but trust me, it'll all straighten up in the end!
In the next video, we're going to chain one stitch to form the SIDE of the square and then do this very same routine again (without turning the work around - just continuing on into the NEXT corner gap to the left) We'll then treble 3 into that gap, chain 3 and treble another 3 back into the same gap to form another corner. This is how we continue on with the following 2 corners too!
@kaylahackney No sound is needed! You just need to watch and learn. I think that my voice would TOTALLY distract you from the task at hand! Good luck! xxx
