With voice-overs. It's difficult to describe Old Aix in only a few sentences. We were struck again by the gracious beauty of the place -- the interesting buildings; the teeming marketplaces scattered each in its own quarter on its own day; the amazingly tall and air-freshening plane trees; some of the world's most truly beautiful women, of all ages. The culture seemed a little less open to us than in Italian cities of equivalent size. Slightly more exclusively French, in terms of what the populace was willing to accommodate. An utterly subjective impression, of course, but one any non-French person could make a good argument for from personal experience.

  • Is this a ficus-carica (linnaeus) in the garden

    of the church? -

which is the eigen tree of Lilith.

  • I guess, anywhere within the colored

glass window of the church there hides

    the wonderful Frau Magdalena herself.
