Please tell me how long you've been doing Aikido and how many dojo and how many variations of Aikido have you experienced? And how is it that you in particular know what O'Sensei thought or intended? Please qualify your expert knowledge. Which style of Aikido would you say is the best and which is the worst? I don't usually get to learn from an expert like you, that knows so much about Aikido.

No, you can't. Because there are still Aikido schools that are strictly has how Ueshiba's intended to be, for example Iwama Ryu Shinshin ... iforgotwhatelse from Saito Sensei!.
In my dojo Aikido is extrictly disciplined the way Ueshiba's intended it to be, the art of love and peace, not war and dancing.

What the hell are you talking about? I have tryed to use aikido in my real life. It does work. Have you ever trained aikido?

It was against a blackbelt student. But I quit that dojo and tried another one recently - and changed my mind a bit. I still think you need ages to master the moves but I can see the concepts now and some of them are very useful. I've even tried Tenchi nage in my Karate class and it worked. ^^
