I can plainly see his ease with high notes. I can also plainly see that he is out of tune for the entire first section of this clip until 2:40, with several high notes (such as :22 and 3:46) totally out of tune.
Great high c's? Absolutely. But there are many notes in the scale, & I for one would love to hear him sing w/legato & good intonation. High c's aren't special, there are many instances of others singing them as well or better, but ALSO with evenness throughout the voice.
