  • Great sequencing on that first chorus. Sonny Rollins was a master at that, stretch a motif to the breaking point. I'll take that over rehearsed Trane licks from sax man #29,8374 anyday. haha

The lick at 2:54 reminded me of something Eric Dolphy would do. Great stuff. Post more.

  • man hard bop lives on in cats like u keep it up

  • Not the most melodic lines but the kid can definetly play...

  • I know this guy! He is at our jazz festival in Blaine, Washington. He gives out such great advice. What a badass.

  • loved the sax playing apart from the tone, was a bit gerald for me

  • Great sax solo!

  • Wow the Sax player is actually pretty good just keep listening a little bit longer

  • You are KICKIN. You're a beast man. All of your playing maintained consistency throughout a slew of choruses. Nice job man.

  • Nick - you are killin and fresh! Some of these comments are flat-out strange. Hope to hear more...! Stay tuned!

  • Good stuff, but the sax should try to play a little softer. It seemed a little harsh and raw, which might not be so bad, but it didn't seem to fit the mood.

  • sorry meant choruses

  • you play very well, i enjoyed listening to your several changes, they infact had something to say each time around, with a new pattern/phrase...very consitent with that, and your sound was good, and the tempo...very cool man, keep it up!!!
