  • Beginners are still using the continental and being taught the wind-shield wiper forehand. It's easier to learn. The more experienced you get, the more east to west people go. However, it's difficult for some to go from a semi-western to a continental - which is necessary for a backhand slice, net play, etc.

  • i agree with shadowkillerdragon

  • she's holding more of an eastern grip then the continental.

(I don't think she knows how to demonstrate)

  • isnt that just the continental grip >.>

    thats basically best for serving.

A semi western or full western is more suited for a good solid forehand shot
