These are highlights of the Geelong Cats 2011 AFL Home & Away Season. It has many amazing moments from the cats terrific season in which they ended up 2nd on the ladder with 19 wins and 3 losses, just 1 win behind Collingwood in top spot.

With new coach this year Chris Scott, and the loss of Gary Ablett Jnr to Gold Coast and Max Rooke to Retirement, the cats have gone a whole lot better than what many people expected.

Now they are in the position to contend for the flag again with the finals just around the corner, starting this week against the hawks in the qualifying final.

  • @tzala06 you may be right about being GF bitches in the 90s, but at least we turned that around. Unless you go for Brisbane, you can't talk.

  • what a champion team.. one of the best in history

  • Gotta love Chris Scott :)

  • @tzala06 Who do you barrack for?

  • @hoever06 ....harder than ever? u gotta be kidding. Players fitness levels might be better but footy these days is like basketball on grass, too much umpire involvement. Theres a free kick every 2 seconds, no more heavy bumping etc. In the past, players would put their body on the line not thinking about getting a free, but today, players are guaranteed a free if a mere fingernail touches them above the shoulder.

  • @tzala06 Haha premierships are far harder to win now than ever before. Suck it up, chump.

  • Well done cats, you have won 3 flags in the 'softest' era of footy ever. I recall back in the late 80's & 90's u were everyones bitch in grandfinals. Kings of the 'soft' era.

  • Geelong The Immortals

  • 1 word. PREMIERS!!!!

    Go cats!

    Cool video mate, well done

  • thank you for not putting on obnoxious songs, they are an instant *close video* for me. really good clips, geelong 2011 premiers!
