"Beau Soir" (French for "Beautiful Evening") is a French art song written by Claude Debussy. It is a setting of a poem by Paul Bourget. Debussy was twenty or twenty one when he wrote this song (ca.1883), and his music was marked by the aesthetics of the period.(From Wikipedia)

Hahaha purple hair hahahahaha

@Legocky Maybe the echo and reverb were unintentional

@legocky Often when you hear two renditions of the same song, you will generally hear musical instinct take over, and often the results are similar, but individually creative, listen harder and don't listen for Heifetz accents or anyones' who plays a tune while you listen to someone else's rendition. You'll only spoil it for yourself and for others. Bravo

Beautifully played, but the violin is a bit brisk for my taste.

Friggin' Debussy wrote this when he was like 16 or something. What an asshole. I wish I had a lock of his hair or something.
PS: Forgive my ignorance but is that a viola? It has a real depth and throatiness to its sound if it is indeed a violin.. I dig its sound!

@xsobbs Nightsounds is where I first heard this.. when I found out it was a Debussy piece I kinda chuckled and said "...Explains why I like it so much." Nightsounds was the best. I fell asleep to it every chance I got. What a voice Bill had.
The end of this piece gives me chills every damn time I hear it.

i have the recording of Heifetz, you hav tryd to imitate the recording Echo and Reverb, good Job, but heifetz is Heifetz and was and stays allways.

I haven't actually heard Heifetz's recording of this piece, but it is nice to hear that you found a similarity in our renditions.
