Building HG G30th Gundam (painting + stripping paint)

It's been a while. But I'm back :-)

Here I show my progress on the HG G30th Gundam that I started Building back in 2010.
First some explanation of this spray-paint brush-painting hybrid and then some old footage that I recorded back at the time when I had to strip the first paint-job.

At the end I show off my cabinets again to test my new DC (Canon PowerShot SX150 IS).

Ah. and a new video editing sofware was used this time: Corel Videostudio X3 (previous: Ulead Videostudio 11)

The G3 scheme works very nicely with what looks like some samual decals. Really liked looking at the other kits.

@mokanaman Indeed they are Samual Decals :-)

I also use the Bandai and found out that Samual's are very delicate and thin. Great if you don't mess up (unvisible edges after coating) but they rip easy. I'm glad I got them :-)

are the panel lines still visible when you paint it???

If the paint isn't too thick then they still exist and are visible. But right now I'm having my problems at some places where the paint + to coat accumulated and block some lines...

It's great to have you back!

I had been gone for a long while, too. School and all that...

But yes, I remember this G-3 project! It's looking fantastic so far. Very interested in seeing how it turns out.

I had some problems with the panel-lining yesterday - but at least finishing it on the weekend will be possible.
