Views from and around Mount Warning also known as Wollumbin is a mountain close to Murwillumbah, near the border with Queensland on the North Coast of New South Wales, Australia. Due to Mount Warning's proximity to the Australian continent's eastern most point, Cape Byron, it is the place on the mainland that is believed to first see the sun rise. In 1770, the peak was named Mount Warning by Lieutenant James Cook.

  • Wow I didn't know you had mountains like that! Nicely done.

  • Although I've done the clime before I have wondered if the extra effort in doing the camp on top to catch the dawn would be worth while. Your great photos Sally-Ann have inspired me to put the climb back on the things to do list :).
