Morning with Farah interview with Hans Raj Hans, Punjabi singer born in a village called Shafipur near Jalandhar. He was born into a peasant family. He sings Punjabi folk, devotional and Sufi music but has also sung in movies and released his own Indipop albums. He has worked alongside other renowned artists such as the late Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, as seen in the movie Kachche Dhaage.

used to wonder whats the secret behind his classiness and super melodious voice,after watching this interview the reason is obvious,Allah only makes them gifted who deserve to be born gifted. His humble personality and his sweet talk just makes me wonder why people start comparing him with other legends because he like all of them are UNIQUE....good work Farah....dil khush khush ho gaya!

@K5K74 Gurdas mann is nowhere near to Hans R Hans . Hans is recognised By Nusrat Fateh ali Khan . Hans is only the singer in India who can sing every kind of song like qwalli,saif ul malook, gazal, kaafi, pop,bandish in a very proper way by god gifted , When he sing HEER it just like Warish Shah  soul enter in the body of hans . hans is really a great legend .

Hans Raj is good an a very strong personality but todiscredit Gurdas Maan is silly. Gurdas Maan has done more for punjabi music than anyobne in the last 30 yrs. His music and lyrics are penned by himself, he has been at the top of the game for 30 years - and remains so. He maybe a 'simple' singer but he is a great singer and is respected where ever there is a punjabi person. besides he is the biggest selling punjabi singer in Pakistan - thats why he should be on the show!
