  • @WorldNews92 Still great viewing figures even back then.

  • @MeBenHalpin 28.40 million watched Charles and Diana on the BBC, but ITV's coverage of Charles and Diana was beaten by Ken and Deirdre at 24 million viewers. In 2005, 12.9 Million watched Ken and Deirdre; 7.8 watched Charles and Diana. On a a tangent, on the same day in 2005, 9.5 million prefered watching the Grand National instead!

  • @WorldNews92 Didn't they both get married the same week, or something, sort of Summer 1981, do you how many viewers that episode pulled in.
