There's certainly a lot of suppression of all kinds of good things in general in many cultures, but people wanting to flaunt themselves obviously aren't actually in tune with their bodies and souls.
The difference is the soul, evil people's thoughts can defile you - and the covering up is actually coming from that originally.

Not Arab "Muslims" Just Arabs. Before Islam, Arabia wasn't a safe place.
And Middle East are not Just Arabs. They are the Berber, Israelites, Persians, Turks, Guflians, Egyptians and etc. They are all different in terms of Culture, Race and Language.
They Arabs are the Nomadic people who lives in the Arabian peninsula.
