  • @openblue07 Nothing all, that's why tax is paid on rent and GST on things we buy, services (like property management fees) that are used. And the GST can't be claimed back either, not like normal businesses. If properties are "traded" then GST has to be paid on those sales too.

  • What is the problem with paying tax on the money you earn?

  • @fjbutch We pay taxes on our income just like any business owner. Do all business owners want to pay CGT or just some?

  • So they should...it's income,.. therefore you pay a percentage to the government....Aussie pay 20 % and NZ will only fork out 15.....what's the problem? ...
