This is a re-upload of a video I made a few years back. Currently the engine is torn down awaiting a fresh "more power" build! Enjoy - Rate - Comment. Thanks to all my subs, friends, and fans!

  • yeah well i dont have that problem i have a 1973 chevy with a performance 350 sbc, got a edlebrock performance air gap intake on it its super tall with a 1806 650 cfm edlebrock carb on it and a 4 and a half inch k&n air filter. I have built this truck myself from the ground up in my backyard.

  • @gilmore822 That sounds sweet. Got any videos of it on your channel? Let's hear that beast!

  • man your choking that beast up with that small air filter

  • @gilmore822 The Edlebrock Torquer II intake is too tall to allow a full size cleaner under the hood. I need to find an aftermarket air induction system that puts the filter down in front and only tubes up to the carb. :-\

  • Beautiful '78! I wish my '78 had a paint job like that. I thought I noticed some traction bars. Not bad, but be careful if you're pushing out a lot of horses. Uni-body frames and traction bars aren't exactly best friends. I would hate to see this beauty of a car get twisted.

  • @banditsone Thanks! I do have traction bars but I also added welded in frame ties and poly body and suspension bushings. I also added 1/4 aluminum plates inside the trunk and rear seat floor to sandwich the leaf spring perches with grade 8 bolts. Its not going anywhere now. It slams second pretty hard so I knew I had to beef it up also because of the T-Tops.
