Shadow People

According to Monstropedia, Shadow People (also known as shadow men or shadow beings) are a supernatural phenomenon reported as being black humanoid silhouettes, lacking mouths or eyes, although they are sometimes reported to have red or yellow eyes. They are generally described as lacking mass, although their specific nature varies from two-dimensional (like a shadow) to vaporous or distorted. Their movement is often reported as being very quick and disjointed, or "jiggly", in the sense that they first may move slowly like a fluid (similar to jello rather than water), then rapidly "hop" to another part of a witness' surroundings. Some witnesses describe this movement as though the shadow entities they have seen "danced" from one wall to the next.

I've had a few experiences with shadow people and non of them good. The shadow person always catches me in bed and starts to choke me and i couldn't breath. The only way to stop the choking was to say " fuck off satan ". and then it left. Same thing happened to me when i was camping. The shadow person came through the trailer wall and started choking me. I said the same thing and it left into another part of the trailer. Can someone please tell me i'm not alone with this terrible experience?

@blarson12 Woah, I've been pinned down by a shadow person before but the only time I was choked by something paranormal was when I was saying my prayers by my bedside one night in 2004. I was in the military at that time and was married so I was living in what is called "military housing". My husband, also military, was in Iraq and I'd been by myself for a few months. As I prayed, something grabbed my throat so I couldn't speak and started pushing me backward onto my back (I was on my knees).

Shadow people are very aware of us. I don't know what your parents are seeing but that's crazy stuff! Maybe there's some kind of portal going by their house and all the souls that have passed on are passing through there. That's creepy!

We have a woman and a child shadow people in my home. My son thought it was his sister and my daughter thought it was me and her little brother. I have not seen them. They don't bother us. My daughter even heard it call out 'mum'.

...i thought to myself, "damn, another bad dream" and this repeated over and over for about 3 times times until i got fed up and yelled at that thing to piss off lol! it went away and i fell asleep properly. till this day i didn't know what the hell it was until now when i came across info about shadow people. the whole experience seemed so real i still remember it well. damn, i'm now going to be on the lookout for these things. i still can't forget how strong that thing was and i'm a grown man.

@erinsotherstuff I have had one terrorize me since I was 9 over 20 years ago..... still to this day , it bothers me, and seems to be getting stronger..... Even talked to psychic. Did your research tell you how to get rid of them?

@blarson12 well satan has nothing to do with shadow people, like humans there are good ones and bad ones, shadow people are just like that to. ill tell you this that everyone should know about them, they are not ghost, they are not demons, they are just beings of energy. what they do is observe. they watch human life to try to understand it. some others react with humans to have relations with them. yours however, is a bullie.

I grew up with shadow people in a house in Ohio and Jason Offutt has had me write about this. I lived in a haunted apt in Brooklyn and things got weird there. My subtenants had big problems, the neighbors also with noise nuisance, and when I saw the Man in the Hat with my current spouse, yeow!!

My family has a lot of secrets and had a lot of supernatural experiences throughout the years. My mom was surprised that I remember it as clear as yesterday. That's just stuff you don't forget. My Jewish great grandparents lived in that house for over years after the holocaust. Apparently, Los Angeles is just one giant Indian burial ground...
