yeah it was. she was trying to kill him after he killed her father because her father started a fire on the ponderosa and was gonna kill joe for putting it out. episode: the spitfire

That was a great example of the type period with the relationship between studios and the networks. NBC pressured Desi into filming it in colour, and he was extermely nervous at first, but it turned out to be the best decision Desi made because he really had the final say.
