Blending the functional convenience of a digital amp and the old-school vibe of a vacuum tube power section, we have to wonder: does the Vypyr Tube 60 qualify as "steampunk"?

we've used one of these (see "Sink Attack" for example) - not bad amp at all for the price, especially if you're after a whole range of type of guitar tones. If you're after a pure clean, or a very heavy tone, look around for other stuff, like the Peavey 6505+ combo if you like Peavey.
