I remember watching the Carpenters on television in 1970 or 71 when I was either 6 or 7 years old and fell in love for the time in my life and today at 45 years old, the flame that I carried for Karen has never burned out!! To me what was and continues to be the essence of beauty and class.

this is LIVE?!?!?!!? no way!!!!!!!!! its better than the original!!! i had always listened to this version but under the The carpenters - superstar 1971 HQ playback... and i thought it was some sort of music video!!! i always wondered why this version was a little bit higher pitched!! awesome!!!
