Hand Fed Gouldian Finches

My blue back goulds that I hatched in an incubator and hand fed from day one. They're now a year old and have their adult plumage.

Question: Did you use a brand new syringe everytime or could you just rinse and reuse?

i actually did not use a syringe. i used a pipette which is really a syringe like instrument but has a reservoir at the end..sort of like a miniature turkey baster. i just washed with soap and warm water. i have lots of these pipettes so i changed them when i felt that it was starting to get dirty inside (usually after a couple of weeks). you can also soak in bleach after every use. just make sure it's well rinsed before use.

i fed them "exact hand feeding formula" the entire hand feeding process.
