@canttakesky There is someone on Youtube that made Karaoke soundtracks of every song in the movie. Look for SirBob5. He has them all on his channel.

@canttakesky There's a trick to making professionally produced music into karaoke tracks. Since it's a stereo music track with mono audio put on it, you can make the mono waves of each channel cancel each other out. All you need to do is split it in two mono tracks, flip (invert) one of them, and then mix them together to one mono track.
On this one it doesn't work all the way through though, since some of the voice parts are Neil singing in stereo with himself. Echo effects also mess up a bit.

after tons of practice I can finally sing that fast part at the very beginning. Now I just need to learn that weird finger thing he does, lol

This is such a great song.
I still think that it's awesome that Neil Patrick Harris almost got picked as Simon Tam in Firefly (don't get me wrong, Sean Maher did a great job). They'd have been a doctor and a captain a while ago!

@bentajaja No NO no, it is not very hard and it does not take so much time, I have seen Youtubers making much harder editing skills on every video and he makes two videos every week!

The producers of the soundtrack would have to release their soundtrack without the vocals for commercial use, OR someone would have to reproduce the music on their own instruments. Unfortunately, I can't do either. But you could try petitioning the producers to release a karoake instrumentals only version of the soundtrack.
