@vf2005 ....What a hoot! Have to laugh really, especially when I read Michael J. Barrett's statement. He's part of the CIA, in Washington DC and still obviously does not understand what orders and obedience to orders are. I bet you wouldn't find him divulging CIA documents into the public domain, since they would be incendiary, if taken out of context. Why don't those in the MRM use their time and energy helping the poor? Isn't that what we're supposed to be doing as Christians?...

@vf2005 ......Why Christian denominations feel it is acceptable to denigrate one another, when in this day and age we need to support one another in our beliefs, whatever they may be, is hypocrisy. It's easy to criticise any religion; like shooting fish in a barrel really. I bet athiests and agnostics are curling up laughing as us 'Christians', when we can't even support one another in our tenet i.e. belief in God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost and that Jesus Christ died for our sins.....

Personally, I find it quite strange that there is a 'Mormon Research Mission' i.e. not members of the LDS Church who feel they are experts. It's a bit like scientists stating that they've read the Bible, back to front, and state it is just a book that cannot be taken seriously, simply because they don't understand it. The Bible was written for the faithful not the faithless and therefore the LDS Church is for the faithful and not the faithless.

Nice account. Anyway people can believe what they want as long as they don't harm anyone. Personally I find I am more closer to god without belonging to an organised religion. Also I find I am more comfortable with buddhist and taoist beliefs.
