  • To answer a common question - this was something I made up on the spur of the moment as the DJ at the event needed to fill a few minuted before the next display team came on. It is purely freeflowing movements based upon suburi - nothing out of the ordinary.

  • I'm sure I speak for everyone here when I say thank you for your valuable and insightful comments....

  • Indeed freestyle. As an exercise we often put together free-flowing kata's based upon suburi. This was an example used at a public demo in london.

  • @blazetiger2k8 I especially enjoy the fantastic grammar and time you took in writing this comment.

  • That ladies vintage trousers form look kinda funny LOL

  • It definitely contains correct Aikido Jo technique. Whether or not it is one of the recognized Aikido kata is beyond me. I am guessing it is not a recognized kata (i.e. something you would practice and be tested on) - based on the title "freestyle"

  • aNYONE KNOW IF THIS IS A REOGNISED KATA OR JUST MADE UP? I'd like to learn it.

  • nice
