This is the most unpractical amplifier ,, what are you supposed to do drag a trailer of batteries behind you with several alts.. for the amount of power and power required not worth it. these type of pill boxes are at the most practical between 1 to 6 pills for moble use unless you suffer from little man syndrom and need to show how big your wallet is. the most these amps are at best 60 percent efficient. so you wast most of your power into heat. class E FETS baby now you might have something..

How many amps does it draw it is 10 amps per 100 watts at 12 volts so it would be 160 amps if it was really doing 1600 watts 16 x 65 watts which the transistors are rated at at 13.8 volts is only 950 watts approx driven correctly and cleanly so it is not doing 1600 watts no way. put an ammeter inline thats is the true test to show what an amp is actually doing what the meter says means niothing except making you ego bigger

Not being a hater or anything, they are great amps, but no way is that 16pill gonna do 6400 pep at 20 volts. Your 3kw @ 15 volts is dead on though. I have some real time 16pill tests on my page using the same pills as Joe in SC, feel free to check em out.
