this guy came all the way to ohio and played Gonna Fly Now with my marching band and it gave me chills i was honored to be able to perform with somebody with such skill
Completely agree, lead trumpet plays most of the F#'s and the solo trumpet has the option of playing or laying out. Wayne usually lays out on the unison parts, but the G at the beginning is usually the solo part, but I think the lead part played it. Great lead trumpet playing on this video!

Actually, we both have lead lines. Solo part goes to a B and lead part to F#....
