  • this guy came all the way to ohio and played Gonna Fly Now with my marching band and it gave me chills i was honored to be able to perform with somebody with such skill

  • GO TROMBONES!!! Amazing solo. This is called "The Light at the End of the Tunnel" for all aspiring trombone improvisers.

  • @DiVeronica I disagree - my band director was AWESOME and he was a long-time sax player.

  • Completely agree, lead trumpet plays most of the F#'s and the solo trumpet has the option of playing or laying out. Wayne usually lays out on the unison parts, but the G at the beginning is usually the solo part, but I think the lead part played it. Great lead trumpet playing on this video!

  • Actually, we both have lead lines. Solo part goes to a B and lead part to F#....
