That is a lot of butter!!!!! In my house we use 1 stick of butter for like 1 month but he uses it in one meal!!!

@Kanartist true true true!!!! I hate how ppl would comment on him and blame him for those chefs who went suicidal coz he told them the hurtful truth! i mean, why would he lie if he knows what they're doing is wrong? specially in the kitchen? Chef Gordon shares his talent, paid or not he just wants to let others learn in a way that he knows. KUDOS to him! and i look up at him as an aspirant chef in the future..

@PokeyBessie You mean stuff like the Cardamom? In this portion of this video, I haven't seen anything that wouldn't be in my pantry (apart from the goose, which is more of a seasonal treat). Although I'd just take out the cardamom seeds from the husks in stead of throwing it all in. The husks are a little tough at times. I use the husks for potpourri mixes. Most oriental food stores sell cardamom. In parts of Europe, cardamom comes de-husked in little spice jars at your local stores. :)
