@dadman1988: Look...every story and franchise has to evolve. This is one small aspect of an over arching story. Ezio is pushing 60...some things had to change. Ultimately, you can level up a recruit to Master Assassin and just leave them in charge of the dens if you dislike it so much.

@FUCKOFF6605 i think people don't like this den defense shit because it really isn't assassin's creed. they just took a page out of an arcade title's handbook, and to most people that just feels sort of cheap, like they're out of ideas or something. i mean it's ok, but sort of boring compared to every other aspect of the game

When I first played AC: Revelations and go to the first Den Defense and the battering ram appeared I went holy ****, this is friggin awesome

I got it in the end, hard as fuck but used the bombers and fighters behind the barricade wall gun, plenty of brigadiers and freedom fighters with guns and bows on the roofs, along with air assassins and and bombers.

@1ZoDac: Actually, its fairly easy if you've planned ahead. I haven't lost a Den Defence sequence yet.
