JACKSON, N.J. - Three young women died Tuesday of injuries suffered in a two-car collision Monday afternoon in this Ocean County community, authorities said.

Julie Tracy, 17, Kristen OHara, 19, and Alexandra Tenneriello, 19, all of Jackson, were passengers in a 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer driven by Nicole Greenberg, 17, of Jackson, said Capt. Michael Mohel of the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office.

Tenneriello was pronounced dead at 2:40 a.m. Tuesday at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune where she was taken following the crash. OHara and Tracy died Tuesday afternoon at the Neptune hospital, Mohel said.

Greenberg was treated and released from CentraState Medical Center in Freehold Township.

The Mitsubishi collided with a 2000 Chevrolet Cavalier driven by Natercia Clanton, 33, of Waretown. Clanton was treated and released from CentraState, officials said. Her mother, Rosa Moco, and her sister, Anabela Moco, 31, both of Jackson, who were passengers in Clanton's car, also were hurt.

The coillision happened around 4:30 p.m. at a curve in the road shortly after a heavy rainstorm, said Jackson police Sgt. Brian Geoghegan.

Police said Monday the Mitsubishi driver appeared to have lost control and swerved into the opposite lane. An investigation into the cause of the crash is continuing.

Im so sorry about your lose of your daughter. I know how u feel I lost my daughter in march of this year she was only 10. I was watch this vadio i cry as a father we look at our daughters and watch them grow up and we cant beleave such a beautiful princess we have. Im sorry that my words are short but my tears are in my eyes.

I went to school with Kristen, and we had a very close friendship my senior year. She is beautiful and will never be forgotten. I'm sorry for your loss and stay strong. She wouldn't want it any other way.
