@KenjiroKitsumashi Well the problem with your Escape is it's literally an 03 Escape with a new body and interior. Everything else remained essentially the same so reliability is less than perfect. And everyone has their preferences. I'd buy a Kia or a Hyundai in an instant. they've seriously stepped their game up. And maybe in your area VWs aren't common but they are most places I've been. My town is full of Jettas and tones of Audis too.

@PIchillin456 That Escape that comes out top-notched turns out to be a piece of crap after 2.5 years... I have a 2008 which is nice but I would rather get something that is like what, a Kia? and also... No American can afford a car, so they rely on Kia and Hyundai... Like I said before, I have not seen any VW around NJ, PA, or DE... That's my stats

@KenjiroKitsumashi Here's the thing about the Escape. Yours is essentially the same as when they first came out around 2003. Old tech from when Ford was no good. But the things that have come out in the last 3 years are top-notch these days. Also with regards to the VW thing that actually accounts for anything under the brand like Audi among others.

@PIchillin456 I get facts form the web and my personal experiences... one of my friends got a Kia Sorento and we constantly see them on the road in NJ... I don't see many VWs in NJ... and Ford? I have a 3 year old Escape and that thing needs to go back to the repair shop constantly... (many recalls including: replacement of seats [too tightly threaded and will fail to deploy torso airbags]) and my transmission constantly fails. This is why I'm never getting Ford and also they cheated me of money

@KenjiroKitsumashi actually Ford has the best reliability now and yeah Dodge isn't very good. Wouldn't trust a Dodge or a Chrysler. My dad's 1999 Chrysler Sebring convertible nearly killed me when the brakes failed for the second time during a panic stop. Not saying Toyota is unreliable but that Toyota reliability thing no longer rings true. Also just saying VW sells the most cars in America not Hyundai or Kia. Not really sure where you're getting your facts from.

@KenjiroKitsumashi I love how you're generalizing about all American cars because of your experience with two cars of a particular brand. That escape is likely a freak problem and your Flex is clearly a lemon. You can get a lemon from any brand of car, no matter where it's built. Just saying the best car I ever owned was American. It doesn't mean I'm loyal to American cars. I've had German and Japanese as well. I'm just saying don't generalize. It's not really fair.

@KenjiroKitsumashi Vancouver is not like that, A Ford Fusion would usually be about the same price but the Camry would be starting at 26k or more...
-
@TheSharkElite In America... a Ford Fusion is like $22,000 and a Toyota Camry or Honda Accord is about $22,000
-
@KenjiroKitsumashi really? In Vancouver Most american cars are cheaper than japanese by 5k or more(Usually!)
-
@TheSharkElite Estimated about the SAME DAMN PRICE BETWEEN AMERICAN AND JAPANESE CARS! (Unless you are talking about a preowned one, that's a different story)
1. Attach Justin Bieber
2. Head first towards pole
3. Set machine to repeat
