Here is another video from BLUE NOTE playing on a charity-concert in October 2001 in a sportshall of a small town in the country (Gümmer, a part of Seelze; LowerSaxony, Germany).
Again with Ralf Nowy on bari-sax - famous not only for his work as a producer for musicians such as Nina Hagen or Steffan Waggershausen; he died a couple of month ago by heartattack.
And - again - there is Jim McGillivray, the scotsman who played in such groups as EPITAPH or with TotoBlanke.
Andrea Schwarz is on lead vocals here, Anke Renner on backing vocals, Leo "James" Steiner on guitar, Daniel Zeinoun on trumpet, Gregor Busch on tenor-sax, Stefan Golinski on trombone and Andreas Bürgel on keyboards.
Best wishes.

  • Great performances, but your About this video says that's a bari sax. That is not a bari, rather it is a tenor sax.

  • Thank you for your comment!

Ralf Nowy played bari in this band most of the times - but you're right: this time there was no bari; he played an alto on this tune (Ralf was the hornplayer far left on the video). On tenor (far right) there was Gregor Busch.

    Thanks for the correction.
