  • Lol STFU. I have a pretty bad case of ADHD. I get SUPER HYPER when off my medicine, and sometimes it brings me to the point where I backtrack on the social lineup. I lose focus almost constantly when off my medicine. The only thing that the my medicine (Ritelin) does to negatively affect me is my loss of appetite and sometimes a shyer more serious mood inducement. I honestly can''t believe some people say the drugs are just shit made up. And please, don't try to start an arguemnt, its useless.

  • @RandomImaginations You are right that not all people that take the stimulants experience side effects but most do experience some. For most the benefits of the medication far outweighs the side effects! However our specialty is helping 80% of our clients with supplements and dietary changes. Fox 35 Orlando interviewed one of many of my clients that went from 3 Meds to zero. It's one of the more recent videos on my channel. Let me know what you think!

  • As a youth, I was diagnosed with Vegetable Avoidance Disorder. My parents took me for treatment, and thanks to my doctor and the good folks at Pfizer, I no longer have a pesky will of my own. Now I'm an office worker who relishes being underpaid and humiliated by my supervisors. Thanks!

  • @mickeymephistopheles A lot of people are going back to school with this economy and might be a good time to put the past behind you! It's never too late, but the longer we wait the more responsibilities we have and the harder it is to go back to school.

  • Oppositional Defiance Disorder? Give me a fucking break! Why is it nowadays that whenever there's a problem with your kid, we have to attach some disease to it? It can't just be that the parents suck? Oh no, don't blame the parents! It's never their fault! It's obviously some convoluted disease that we just pulled out of our ass to make the parents feel better about themselves! Oppositional Defiance Disorder. Ha!

  • @ryanmshepard92 You make a good point Ryan. This video is just a portion of my DVD where we say that often when a student is oppositional there are two parents that are not on the same page!

  • opp is just racism because people with melanted eyes have trouble listening blonds listen alot its not in favour for melanetd person to listen you have to challange people that are melanted i a way then thye will list you got to kind of say i bet you can open this pop bottle for asimple example.

  • @ryanmshepard92

and the list goes on and on. when he turned 14, his parents sent him to military school. he kept leaving the academy to vandalize cars or break into houses... his parents took him bak... they did everything in the book, some may be on the verge of abuse. he just wouldnt obey.... THATS oppositional defiance disorder. all his siblings turned out fine, well behaved and everything. but he was different. (one more fact: ODD is the child version of Antisocial Personality Disorder.)

  • @ryanmshepard92

oh, hey man. oppositional defiance disorder is very real. ya, some people are just spoiled or had terrible parents. but i had friends that grew up just fine, with semi-strict, but mostly fair parents... well, the 2nd from the youngest brother was incredibly bad. if he was spanked, grounded, or even locked in his mom's bedroom with no entertainment whatsoever, he'd still just simply leave... if he was locked in, hed break a window and leave. grounded, hed steal bak his n64...

  • @RandomImaginations ... P.S. The weirdest thing of all was that even though ritalin did its intended job... it also made me feel less pleasure from things I enjoyed (video games seemed like a chore rather than entertainment).

  • @RandomImaginations ... I tried adderal, but all that did was make me energized and jittery. And by jittery, I mean I had an urge to run around like a little 5 year old. Also it made me talk fast, and on the first day, it made me sleepy 1-2 hours after taking it. Also got some giggles for 30 minutes first time I took aderall. It also killed my appetite though, and it gave me brief hallucinations every few hours (like a whisper in the wind or someone's shadow in the corner of my eye).

  • @RandomImaginations I'm like that now, but I don't take meds. I got this way from chronic severe sleep deprivation and some recent pain issues. I was always hyper, but until college I could control attention if I really tried hard. Now I can't read a textbook without going over every line 3-4 times. I tried ritalin, and it worked for 3 days. On the 3rd day my tolerance got so high I didn't feel anything except for the lack of appetite and 30 minutes of stomach pain after taking the pill...

  • Has anyone ever thought that maybe its not the people that have a problem learning in the world as it is today, but maybe its the world that needs to take some medicine for its disorder?

  • There should be a degree to where ODD should be diagnosed. Obviously someone questioning schooling and the modern society should not count as one alone for that reason, but one that really becomes a danger to other should be counted as one. Questioning everything is fine and dandy, but that alone shouldn't be the key diagnose. Loses temper and getting mad at other is alright then again, when it comes to the point where the person is hurting others, then what would you say?

  • @jeshopk

lol. is that right? very useful ..

  • @RandomImaginations You already started an argument by leaving a comment. Saying something first then telling people not to respond makes no sense. That doesn't mean I disagree with the rest of your comment though, it DOES make sense.

  • @Adamtheflyer I also guarentee he came from an abusive home and was also abused physcially or sexually

  • @ryanmshepard92 We're learning about this in high school psychology right now. You would do well to do the same. Being a disorder (AND NOT A DISEASE) it can be brought on by many factors, such as friends, chemical imbalances and, YES, EVEN THE PARENTS. When this becomes extreme to the point of danger to the child and those around them, it is considered a mental disorder, as it rightfully should be. Think critically.

  • @Adamtheflyer Sounds like true ODD. Just want to say that in public. It takes a lot more than just questioning and just not going into the other people's viewpoint in order to be considered a real disorder by my definition which is it has to cause more than just psychological harm and physical harm from the person diagnosed with it.

  • @Adamtheflyer Hey Adam! Really sorry about your brother. Most of the counseling for Oppositional Defiance is with the parents to get them on the same page and a large percentage have ADHD but not successfully treated or never diagnosed. Additionally, if he is involved in drugs this would contribute to his behavior. Hang in there Adam!

  • @TotalLifeMedia if thats true and i still have ADD/ADHD then i need some fuckin weed

  • what a load of shit just like add and adhd diet disapline and direction are all thats needed not pills or any other crap

  • Im 18 now & got diagnosed with this along with ADD & i still pissed off with being told what to do

  • @RoseGholson omg I am in the same boat with my stepson he is almost nine now I have been with him since he just tunred five and I heard he was like this since he could walk and talk. It is hurting our household. I feel like I am dealing with a pshyco in the making here

  • There are some exceptions to this as about 66% of ODD cases are unsuccessfully treated ADHD students as well. Not sure how old your kids are so hard to answer your question.
