I've lived in Tarboro ALL my life..Literally. It really is pretty boring if you've lived tall your life and like trey and sum1 said there are a LOT of police or like me and mah friends say is a hole lota po po in tarboro ik found police sneakily looking for people to catch speeding like one on the rode to wal-mart and one on the rode to my street

What strike's me as odd, I have lived in Edgecombe County all my life, I am a Tarborian (or whatever) never have the police talked to the children without frisking them and asking them who sold them what they had and where did there friend go?

Tarboro is a pretty boring place when youve lived here almost all of your life...its a nice place tho...pretty quiet...i live here so yeah...but enjoy it here =]

I lived in Ithaca, NY, back in the nineties. I got a place in Tarboro last January and LOVE it! LOL, I'm the one HairyChestnuts came to visit last February. I've had visitors from all over! :-) There are all sorts of events going on most of the time--and be sure to visit the veterans museum and the Blount-Bridgers House. And you're not too far from the Outer Banks and lots of good sight-seeing places. Only about an hour from Raleigh in the other direction. Generally nice climate, too.

I visited Tarboro for a couple of weeks back in February and fell in love with your great town.

If I was ever gonna emigrate from the UK, Tarboro would be my ideal destination.
