Dream Big

By all accounts, Barack Obama is a great human being and a great dad. He is doing his young daughters proud by showing them that dreaming big and going after your goals are good things to do. I believe this lovely song about dreaming big sung by David Cook on the American Idol finale embodies Barack Obama's personal philosophy.

Your video was totally awesome. I was 4 years old when JFK was killed. My mother's simple explanation to me on that day: Democrats care about all people and Republicans care only about themselves. To have 45 years pass and to witness this great man becoming President of the United States is a moment that I only wish I could share with my mother. Finally, Barack Obama is the President-elect of the USA. He is the embodiment of a person who dreamt and fulfilled it. Never could one imagine that someone belonging to a race that was severely oppressed rise up and lead the richest nation on earth.
